Updated Alice’s full build.
Alice (ZZZ) is one of the Physical characters with role. Alice (ZZZ) is one of the S Rank characters in Zenless Zone Zero.
Alice Build (ZZZ) is included in this guide, you can jump to Alice Build (ZZZ) Here.
Alice is positioned as a physical anomaly strong DPS. In actual combat, she can serve as either an on-field main DPS or a quick-swap DPS, offering great flexibility in team compositions. Below her avatar, there is an energy gauge called “Blade Etiquette,” which fills up when three segments are accumulated.
Blade Etiquette
What is the purpose of this Blade Etiquette? Similar to Miyabi, it is used to execute an Enhanced Basic Attack. When Alice holds down the basic attack button, she consumes Blade Etiquette to unleash a powered-up basic attack, with the effect further enhanced when two segments are consumed. However, in practice, consuming one or two segments for an Enhanced Basic Attack is almost never used and can be ignored.
The true core of her damage output lies in consuming three segments of Blade Etiquette for an Enhanced Basic Attack. The final hit of this three-stage charged attack triggers a special Polarized Assault upon hitting an enemy. The Polarized Assault ignores attribute build-up progress, dealing 100% of a normal assault’s damage, and can trigger Disorder in combination with all anomaly effects (including normal assaults). For example: after consuming three Blade Etiquette segments with a held basic attack, the final slash will execute a Polarized Assault, which can then trigger Disorder alongside a normal assault.
Additionally, Alice’s three-stage charged attack can synergize with teammates. After accumulating three Blade Etiquette segments, she can switch to a teammate to follow up with their damage, similar to Miyabi’s playstyle.
This makes her combat approach clear: continuously accumulate Blade Etiquette in battle, then consume all three segments at once to unleash the three-stage Enhanced Basic Attack. So how does she accumulate Blade Etiquette in combat? There are seven ways:
Alice’s Core Passive
While Alice is on-field and alive, whenever anyone in the team (including herself) triggers an assault on an enemy, she will deal 2.5% of that assault’s damage every 0.95 seconds until the anomaly ends. She also increases the team’s Disorder damage. The longer the remaining duration of an enemy’s physical anomaly, the higher her Disorder damage buff becomes (up to 180%).
When Alice triggers an assault, her physical anomaly build-up rate increases by 25% for 30 seconds, and her fifth basic attack is enhanced—dealing higher damage, stagger value, and anomaly build-up. Before triggering an assault, the fifth attack is a simple slash; afterward, it becomes a plunging attack with superior stats.
If the team includes anomaly or support characters, an additional effect activates: when Alice’s Anomaly Mastery exceeds 140, every point above that increases her Anomaly Proficiency by 1.6.

to activate:
Hold to charge, expending up to 3 bars of Blade Etiquette. Release
or when Blade Etiquette is below 1 bar, Alice performs a series of slashes in an area centered on the target enemy, with the number of hits determined by charge level, dealing massive Physical DMG.
When the Finishing Move of a three-stage charged Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz hits, it triggers a special Assault effect: Polarized Assault. This deals DMG equal to 100.0% of the original Assault, ignoring Anomaly Buildup, and can interact with other Attribute Anomalies, including Physical, to trigger Disorder.

Twin Rainbows of the Swordheart
Alice (ZZZ) Core Passive
After any squad member inflicts a Physical Anomaly on an enemy, Alice deals additional DMG each 0.95s of its active duration, equal to 2.5% of the original Physical Anomaly DMG. If Disorder is triggered while the enemy is suffering a Physical Anomaly, for every 1s of remaining Physical Anomaly duration, the Disorder DMG multiplier increases by 18%, up to a max of 180.0%.
When Alice’s attacks hit an enemy, she builds up Blade Etiquette. When she triggers an Assault through Anomaly Buildup, she gains 10 Blade Etiquette. Blade Etiquette has a maximum of 300, with each 100 being 1 bar.
When the Finishing Move of a three-stage charged Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz lands, it triggers a special Assault effect: Polarized Assault, dealing 100.0% of the original Assault DMG, ignoring Anomaly Buildup progress. This can be combined with any Attribute Anomaly, including Physical Anomaly, to trigger Disorder.
When Alice triggers Assault on an enemy, her Physical Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 12.5%/14.6%/16,7%/18.8%/20.8%/22.9%/25% for 30s.

Undoubtedly, her Signature W-engine is the best choice. After triggering its effect, the second-highest output comes from Jane’s Signature W-engine “Sharpened Stinger”, which reaches about 84.7% of the Signature W-engine’s performance when accounting for anomaly effects. However, Jane’s weapon requires dodging to activate its effect, and Alice doesn’t dodge frequently in combat, making consistent uptime difficult.
Among A-rank W-engines, both “Weeping Gemini” and “Fusion Compiler” can achieve over 80% of the Signature W-engine’s damage when their effects are active. Considering trigger reliability, these two A-rank options often outperform even Refined “Fusion Compiler” or “Sharpened Stinger”.

For the 2-piece set, you can choose between:
The differences are minor, so prioritize pieces with better substats.
About substats, the best one is AP, then ATK%. PEN and Flat Attack will be next prioritiy. Crit stats are not good for Alice.
Similar to Jane, the most common setup is Yazuha + Vivian. Yazuha can also be replaced by Astra Yao; the best alternative to Vivian is Nicole, who offers strong crowd control along with DEF reduction and damage amplification. If you’re skilled with Nicole, her performance can rival that of badly-geared Vivian. If not, you can substitute another anomaly DPS such as Burnice or Yanagi, or even run a dual-DPS setup with Jane or Miyabi.
If you lack an anomaly DPS, you can also field both Yazuha and Astra Yao together.
