Durin gains either the “Confirmation of Purity” or “Denial of Darkness” state through his Elemental Skill, and his Elemental Burst will also take on different forms depending on which state he is in. The “Confirmation of Purity” state focuses on support utility, providing continuous Off-field Pyro DMG while causing nearby party members, when they trigger Burning, Overloaded, Pyro Swirl, or Pyro Crystallize on enemies, or deal Pyro DMG or Dendro DMG to enemies affected by Burning, to reduce those enemies’ Pyro RES and the RES of the corresponding element. The “Denial of Darkness” state focuses on Durin’s own damage output, providing higher-damage Off-field Pyro DMG and further increasing Durin’s reaction damage in Vaporize or Melt teams. Additionally, when Durin is teamed up with a Hexerei character, both of the above effects will be further strengthened.
