Anby Mechansim
Skills and Combos Anby is easy to master and understand, balanced and practical, yet somewhat average. Basic attack combos are light and smooth but have low multipliers; skills are swift, practical, and good at causing Daze. This combination of strong skills and weak basic attack combos makes Anby more inclined towards small bursts, making her the best short-axis on-field assault character during the early game period.
Basic Operation As a beginner character, Anby’s gameplay is not complicated. On-field operations do not require intricate combo routines; it’s all about landing a hit when possible, focusing on generating energy and causing Decibel Rating.
Skill Release When there’s no energy, the most efficient sequence is Basic Attack three times followed by a Daze skill. Skills should always be released after Basic Attack three times to maximize the character’s performance. Anby’s skills are more focused on Daze, with a slight charge component. The first enhancement is Anby’s high burst phase.
High Burst Phase In terms of short-axis burst Daze capability, Anby can even outperform Lycaon but is slightly inferior to Koleda. Additionally, Anby’s cycle and on-field time are the shortest among all the Stun characters, giving her a level of efficiency not weaker than long-axis S rank stun character. This makes her the most cost-effective character among the three beginner character.

Anby Key Mindscapes
Anby’s Mindscapes Comparison
The % indicates the Daze Efficiency of the Mindscape to the previous Mindscape (For M1, it is compared to no Mindscape).
For the W-Engine, the first choice is the A-Rank Precious Fossilized Core, as it allows Anby to inflict more Daze on the target. This is followed by the A-Rank Demara Battery Mark II (at R5), which provides Electric DMG and Evasive Assist boost effects, suitable for Anby in the Stun role. The Impact% of Demara Battery Mark II R5 helps Anby bring the Daze period faster. Additionally, every time Anby uses Dodge Counter or Assist Attack, she receives a buff that increases Energy Regen by 27.5% for 8 seconds.
The second choice is the A-Rank Steam Oven, which increases Energy Regen and boosts Impact by accumulating energy. Every 10 energy consumed will increase Impact by 3.2%, up to 8 stacks.
As transitional options at the beginning, you can use the B-Rank W-Engine [Vortex] Arrow and [Vortex] Hatchet.
Anby Disk Drives’ Main Stats & Sub Stats(Anomaly Build)
Slot 4
Anomaly Proficiency
Slot 5
Electric DMG
Slot 6
Energy Regen
Main Stats
Anomaly Proficiency > Crit Rate = Crit DMG > PEN
Sub Stats
For Disk Drives, it is recommended to equip Anby with 4 pieces of Shockstar Disco and 2 pieces of Freedom Blues. The 2-piece bonus of Freedom Blues increases AP by 30, while the 4-piece bonus grants 20% more Daze upon the main target when Anby uses Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks, Dodge Counter, Special Attacks, and EX Special Attacks.
For main stats, Slot 4 should be Crit Rate or Crit DMG, Slot 5 is best with Electric DMG Bonus, and Slot 6 should have Impact, aiming to increase the Daze speed. For sub-stats, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit DMG, followed by ATK% and PEN.
There is also an Anomaly build where Anby focuses on Anomaly enhancements. In this setup, the Disk Drives would be 4 pieces of Freedom Blues and 2 pieces of Thunder Metal, primarily leveraging the effect of the Freedom Blues 4-piece set bonus, which reduces the target’s Anomaly Buildup RES to the equipper’s Attribute by 20% for 8 seconds when an EX Special Attack hits an enemy. The Thunder Metal set provides a 10% increase in Electric DMG from the 2-piece set. The main and sub-stat recommendations will be changed to stack Anomaly Proficiency.
This Electric team consists of Anby, Rina and Anton. In terms of Bangboo, the A Rank Electroboo is the first choice as 2 Electric Attribute characters in the team will help increase the Anomaly buildup and Butler is the second choice as 1 Victoria Housekeeping Co. character in the team can generate Energy in this case.
In this lineup, Anby primarily creates Daze on-field. Rina can the on-field time in order to help for the Anomaly buildup. Since Anton is mainly the DPS in the team. Ultimate will be saved for Anton instead of Anby and Rina.
In terms of team passives, the whole team share the same attribute, which successfully triggers their characters’ core passives. Which Anby’s Dodge Counter hits an enemy, she gains an extra 7.2 Energy And Rina’s Shocked enemies are on the field, all squad members’ Electric DMG increases by 15%. While Anton is in Burst Mode and when attacking Shocked enemies, for every 5 critical hits, an additional bout of Shock DMG is triggered at 30% of the original DMG.
To summarize, this is a balanced Electric team. Due to Rina’s presence, the strategy of switching Anby and Rina allows the enemy to enter the Daze state faster, resulting in more frequent Daze periods.
This Electric team consists of Anby, Grace and Anton. In terms of Bangboo, the A Rank Electroboo is the first choice as 2 Electric Attribute characters in the team will help increase the Anomaly buildup and Butler is the second choice as 1 Victoria Housekeeping Co. character in the team can generate Energy in this case.
In this lineup, Grace will be the main on-field character in order to help for the Anomaly buildup. Since Anby’s daze buildup is not fast as Grace’s Anomaly buildup speed. Anby primarily uses Reactive Assist in the team to trigger her W-Engine Effect to boost the Energy Regen. Ultimate will be saved for Anton instead of Anby and Rina.
In terms of team passives, the whole team share the same attribute, which successfully triggers their characters’ core passives. Which Anby’s Dodge Counter hits an enemy, she gains an extra 7.2 Energy And Upon Grace hitting an enemy with an EX Special Attack, the Shock DMG the enemy suffers increases by 25%. While Anton is in Burst Mode and when attacking Shocked enemies, for every 5 critical hits, an additional bout of Shock DMG is triggered at 30% of the original DMG.
To summarize, this is an Electric Anomaly team. Due to Gace’s presence, the strategy of switching Anby and Grace allows the Anomaly buildup faster, resulting in Higher damage of the team.
Anby’s characteristics are quick and smooth combos but with low multipliers, and his skills are swift, easy to use, and excellent at stunning enemies. This combination of strong skills and weak combos makes her more inclined to deliver small bursts, making her the best short-cycle battlefield stun character for beginners. As a newbie character, Anby’s gameplay is not complicated, and you don’t need to worry about combo routines. When you don’t have energy, using three Basic Attacks followed by a Charged Attack achieves the highest Daze efficiency. Skills should also be released after the third Basic Attack to fully utilize the character’s performance.
