Prune Team Overview

Prune is a 4-star Anemo Catalyst support who buffs ATK and supports Hexerei teams. These two Varka teams pair her with Nicole and Bennett, or with Furina and Vodyanitsa.

Give Prune enough Energy Recharge for her Burst, then build ATK. Use her Skill and Burst before Varka’s on-field window. Viridescent Venerer supports the Pyro or Hydro damage in these teams when Prune triggers the matching Swirl on field.

After using his Elemental Skill, Varka enters a mixed damage mode, dealing damage through Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, a special Elemental Skill, and special Charged Attacks. One weapon deals Anemo DMG, while the other converts into Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo based on his teammates’ elements. His Elemental Burst deals AoE Anemo and Swirl DMG, but due to its relatively low damage, it should be used generally.

Prune supports Varka with team ATK buffs from her Skill and Burst. Build enough Energy Recharge for her 70-Energy Burst, then invest in ATK; Tolling Rally reaches its 50% cap at 4,000 ATK. Her Hexerei effects require the relevant passive to be unlocked and at least two Hexerei characters in the party.

Trigger a Swirl while Prune is on field to activate Viridescent Venerer for the element being Swirled. This set lowers that element’s RES; it does not lower Anemo RES. Oathsworn Eye supports Burst uptime after using Skill. Skyward Atlas supplies ATK for her buffs; Angelos’ Heptades needs its wielder to create a shield, which Prune’s kit does not do.

Flowing Purity

Nicole is currently one of the best supports for Hexerei teams, combining shielding with teamwide attack buffs while synergizing perfectly with the new Celestial Gift artifact set. By using her Elemental Skill, Nicole grants a shield and increases the entire team’s ATK. Additionally, depending on whether the on-field character is a Hexerei character and how long they remain on the field, she can provide extra ATK buffs to the active character.

Bennett provides healing and an ATK buff inside his Elemental Burst field. His buff scales from Base ATK, so weapon Base ATK matters; artifact ATK% does not increase it. Use enough ER to cast Burst each rotation.

Keep Varka inside the field during his damage window. Noblesse Oblige provides a party ATK buff after Bennett uses Burst. Prune uses Viridescent Venerer here, so the two artifact roles complement each other.

Favonius Sword

Furina supplies off-field Hydro damage with her Salon Members and a team damage bonus from her Elemental Burst. Vodyanitsa’s healing helps the party recover the HP consumed by Furina and supports Fanfare generation.

Golden Troupe improves Furina’s off-field Skill damage. This leaves Tenacity of the Millelith on Vodyanitsa, since two copies of Tenacity’s party ATK buff do not stack. Build enough ER for Burst uptime; Favonius Sword requires CRIT hits while Furina is on field.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Vodyanitsa activates all of her support effects through her Elemental Skill, providing healing, interruption resistance for the on-field character, reduced Hydro, Cryo, and Anemo RES on enemies, additional damage scaling, as well as ATK, CRIT DMG, Elevation, and DMG bonuses. She has strong synergy with Hydro-Cryo teams and Stellar Swirl teams, offering a simple and comfortable playstyle, while her Constellations allow her to fit into a wider variety of team compositions.

Tenacity’s party ATK buff needs repeated Skill hits on enemies. When using Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, switch directly from Vodyanitsa to Varka to give him its ATK buff.
