Normal Attack
Performs up to 3 consecutive sword strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to leap forward and slam the ground, dealing Physical DMG to nearby opponents.
When Valeriy has at least 40 Impact Momentum, he will consume all Impact Momentum to instead perform the special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Valeriy's special Charged Attack. Using a Charged Attack while he has at least 40 Impact Momentum consumes all Impact Momentum to unleash this special Charged Attack instead, dealing AoE Electro DMG in front of him and granting 15 stacks of Offensive Directive.
Within 0.8s after using the Elemental Skill Active Defense: Bastion Charge or the Elemental Burst Focused Fire: Lightning Salvo, if Valeriy has at least 40 Impact Momentum, the next Normal Attack he uses will be converted to the special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment.
A special effect Valeriy gains after performing the special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment. It increases different types of Electro DMG depending on whether Valeriy is in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state. If Valeriy is:
·In the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state: When a nearby active character in the party deals Electro DMG considered Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG to an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, 1 stack of Offensive Directive is consumed to increase that DMG, with the increase based on Valeriy's ATK;
·Not in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state: When a nearby active character in the party deals Electro DMG to an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, 1 stack of Offensive Directive is consumed to increase that DMG, with the increase based on Valeriy's ATK.
When a single instance of Electro DMG hits multiple opponents simultaneously, Offensive Directive stacks are consumed based on the number of opponents hit.
A special energy Valeriy uses to enhance his combat capabilities. Its initial maximum is 100. When he has at least 40 Impact Momentum, he can perform the special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment.
Valeriy can gain Impact Momentum in the following ways:
·By using his Elemental Skill Active Defense: Bastion Charge;
·After unlocking the Passive Talent "Advance With the Creeping Barrage," while his Elemental Burst Focused Fire: Lightning Salvo is active, when a nearby active character in the party hits an opponent with an attack whose Elemental Type is Electro.

Valeriy gains 5 Impact Momentum whenever another nearby active character in the party hits an opponent with an attack whose Elemental Type is Electro while the Thunderburst Shells from his Elemental Burst Focused Fire: Lightning Salvo are falling. He can gain up to 80 Impact Momentum in this way after each use of his Elemental Burst.

Offensive Directive is enhanced based on the amount of Impact Momentum consumed when performing his special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment. Each point consumed further increases the DMG granted by Offensive Directive. If Valeriy is:
·In the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state: Each point of Impact Momentum consumed increases this DMG by an amount equal to 0.9% of Valeriy's ATK;
·Not in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state: Each point of Impact Momentum consumed increases this DMG by an amount equal to 0.3% of Valeriy's ATK.

Valeriy Constellation Level 1
Valeriy regenerates 6 Elemental Energy after performing the special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment. For every 10 Impact Momentum consumed beyond 40 when performing this special Charged Attack, he regenerates an additional 1.5 Elemental Energy. Each time he performs Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment, he can regenerate up to 15 Elemental Energy in this way. This effect can trigger once every 15s.
Additionally, each time Valeriy enters combat, the first time he uses his Elemental Skill Active Defense: Bastion Charge, he gains an additional amount of Impact Momentum equal to 150% of the amount normally gained.

Valeriy Constellation Level 2
All nearby party members gain 100 Elemental Mastery for 18s after Valeriy uses his Elemental Skill Active Defense: Bastion Charge.
Additionally, while protected by a Supercharged Shield, if Valeriy is already at maximum Impact Momentum, any further Impact Momentum he would gain is instead converted into increased DMG Absorption for the shield. Each point of excess Impact Momentum increases the Supercharged Shield's DMG Absorption by an amount equal to 8% of Valeriy's ATK. Up to 20 excess Impact Momentum can be converted in this way.

Valeriy Constellation Level 3
Increases the Level of Normal Attack Guard Tactics: Sword and Shield by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
![]()
Valeriy Constellation Level 4
Impact Momentum's limit is increased by 30, and its charging efficiency is increased by 30%.
Additionally, the Ascension Talent Advance With the Creeping Barrage is enhanced: The maximum amount of Impact Momentum that can be gained from this Talent after using the Elemental Burst is 104. You must unlock the Ascension Talent Advance With the Creeping Barrage to gain access to this effect.

Valeriy Constellation Level 5
Increases the Level of the Elemental Skill Active Defense: Bastion Charge by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Valeriy Constellation Level 6
The special Charged Attack Direct-Fire Mortar: Point-Blank Bombardment and Thunderburst Shells from Elemental Burst Focused Fire: Lightning Salvo are enhanced: Their DMG is increased by 100%, and opponents they hit have the CRIT Rate of Electro DMG they take increased by 10% for 7s. If the Electro DMG taken is Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG, that DMG instance's CRIT DMG is also increased by 40%.
Build for ATK-based support and shield strength. These options are conditional choices, not a numerical weapon ranking.
Energy Recharge
An energy-support option. Its passive requires an on-field CRIT hit; build enough CRIT Rate to trigger it consistently. The passive has a chance to generate neutral particles, so it is not a guaranteed proc on every Skill. Prioritize Burst availability before adding ATK.
Energy Recharge
An alternative when its passive is available. A damaging Skill hit can reset the Skill cooldown, allowing another cast for shield refresh and Impact Momentum. The reset is chance-based and its cooldown depends on refinement; do not assume two casts every rotation. Shields refresh rather than stack.
ATK%
An ATK option with a personal Energy refund after Burst. Skill casts generate Succession Seeds, and Burst consumes the seeds. Valeriy’s Skill has a 10-second cooldown, so do not assume three seeds in a short opening rotation. Use this only if his Burst is sufficiently available with the chosen rotation.
Main stats: ATK% or Energy Recharge Sands, ATK% Goblet, ATK% Circlet; CRIT Rate Circlet is an option for Favonius Sword reliability. Substats: enough ER for the chosen rotation, then ATK%; add CRIT Rate when using Favonius. No fixed ER percentage is assigned without a team rotation calculation.
4-piece · ATK% / ER · ATK% · ATK%
(2) Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
(4) Casting Burst grants the party 20% ATK for 12 seconds; this bonus does not stack with another copy.
A team-support option if Valeriy can cast Burst when needed and no other teammate carries this set. Its party ATK buff and Valeriy’s ATK-based shield/support make it a practical combination, without claiming a calculated best set.
2-piece Gladiator's Finale + 2-piece Shimenawa's Reminiscence
ATK% / ER · ATK% · ATK%
Each 2-piece bonus grants 18% ATK, for 36% ATK in total.
An alternative that focuses on Valeriy’s own ATK for shield absorption and Offensive Directive. Choose useful substats and enough Energy Recharge for the intended Burst usage. This recommendation uses only the two 2-piece bonuses; it does not use Shimenawa’s 4-piece Energy-consuming effect.
Stellar-Conduct example based on their mechanics. Establish Cryo and Mitya’s Polestar Field, keep Valeriy inside the field when preparing his support, use Skill and the special Charged Attack to grant Offensive Directive, then return to Mitya. Use Burst when Energy permits. This is not a simulated ranking or a guaranteed rotation.
Mitya supplies the Stellar-Conduct conversion and Polestar Field. Keep him active during the Electro damage window so his relevant hits can consume Offensive Directive stacks.
His Skill grants a shield and Impact Momentum. The special Charged Attack grants 15 Offensive Directive stacks; use it before switching to Mitya. Within a Polestar Field, Subzero Conditioning puts Valeriy in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, changing which damage the buff applies to.
Supplies healing and Cryo for the Cryo–Electro reaction. Her Skill does not generate particles, and her Cryo application is intermittent; do not assume she supplies reliable Cryo energy or perfect reaction uptime.
Provides grouping and Elemental Mastery support. With Viridescent Venerer, trigger Electro Swirl while she is on field to support Electro damage; reapply the set when needed.
Conventional Aggravate example. This team does not create Mitya’s Polestar Field, so Valeriy uses the non-Radiance Electro-damage branch of Offensive Directive. Use Valeriy’s Skill and special Charged Attack before Keqing’s damage window; keep the active character dealing Electro damage. No constellation is required for this basic pairing.
Deals frequent Electro damage while active and can consume Offensive Directive stacks. Dendro from the other teammates enables Quicken and Aggravate.
Supports the active Electro damage dealer with a shield and ATK-based Offensive Directive. His C2 Elemental Mastery bonus is additional constellation-dependent support, not assumed in this example.
Maintains Dendro application for Quicken and provides Elemental Mastery support. Offensive Directive targets the active character’s Electro damage; it is not presented as a buff to Nahida’s Dendro damage.
Provides healing and supplementary Dendro. Her Burst requires time on field, so use it when healing is needed rather than assuming it fits every damage window.
