An exceptionally ingenious energy specialist and a master of the fine art of "schedule-dodging."
Mitya is a 5-star Electro Catalyst character. His kit uses Gradient Beacons and Detection Cores, with mechanics that change Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct.
Use the on-field build for Gradient Detonation, or the off-field build to support Stellar-Conduct teams. Equipment choices and example teams are explained below.

Normal Attack
Performs a maximum of 3 attacks that deal Electro DMG.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Electro DMG to the area in front after a short casting time.
Mitya will instead perform the special Charged Attack Gradient Detonation, which consumes no Stamina, if a Detection Core: Overload created by Mitya is currently on the field and he has at least 1 Gradient Beacon: Deals 1 instance of AoE Electro DMG to the area in front and continuously consumes Gradient Beacons while held. Each Gradient Beacon consumed deals 1 instance of AoE Electro DMG to the area in front that is considered Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE Electro DMG upon impact.

Conducts a theoretically relatively safe experiment at a theoretically relatively safe yield, dealing AoE Electro DMG and creating a Detection Core in different ways depending on whether the Skill is tapped or held.
Tapping the Elemental Skill Principle: Variable Detection again within 6s after using it changes the Detection Core's state. The Detection Core's state can be changed in this way every 1.5s.
When Mitya is in the party, Stellar-Conduct reactions create Gradient Beacons that last for 6s instead of Starlight Prisms. Mitya can consume Gradient Beacons to trigger various effects.
Gradient Beacons follow the active character and transform the nearby area into a Polestar Field when the Gradient Beacon is created. Mitya can have multiple Gradient Beacons, with an initial maximum of 4. Creating a Gradient Beacon while at the maximum will reset the duration of all Gradient Beacons.
An energy device created after using his Elemental Skill. Tapping it creates a Core in Steady State, while holding it creates an Overloaded core.
Detection Core: Steady State
·Continuously follows nearby opponents and intermittently deals AoE Electro DMG;
·When Mitya has reached the maximum number of Gradient Beacons he can have, the device will consume any newly generated Gradient Beacon and deal AoE Electro DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG;
·When its duration ends or another Detection Core is created, the device will consume all Gradient Beacons Mitya has and deal AoE Electro DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG based on the number consumed.
Detection Core: Overloaded
·While this device is present and Mitya has at least 1 Gradient Beacon, he can perform the special Charged Attack Gradient Detonation without consuming Stamina.

The Detection Core created by the Elemental Skill Principle: Variable Detection is enhanced. Depending on the state of the Detection Core created:
·Steady State: All nearby party members gain 30 Elemental Mastery for each Gradient Beacon Mitya has;
·Overloaded: After nearby party members trigger Stellar-Conduct reactions, instead obtain 1 Gradient Beacon every 1.5s for 6s.

The duration of Gradient Beacons is increased to 10s. Additionally, Mitya's CRIT Rate increases by 5% for 15s after creating a Gradient Beacon. This effect can stack up to 4 times.

When party members trigger Superconduct, it will be changed to Stellar-Conduct. Stellar-Conduct reactions will no longer create Starlight Prisms, and will instead create 1 Gradient Beacon nearby every 1.5s for 3s. These Beacons can be carried by Mitya and transform the area around them into an even larger Polestar Field.
Additionally, the Base Stellar-Conduct DMG dealt by all nearby party members will be increased based on Mitya's Elemental Mastery: Every point of Elemental Mastery he has increases Base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.028%. The maximum Base DMG increase that can be gained this way is 14%. While within a Polestar Field, Mitya will also enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state.

When destructible rocks are nearby, Detection Core: Steady State can quickly clear them.
Additionally, when Mitya is in the party, creating Prime Ice Construct: Basic Heat Source does not consume Kresnik Energy.

Mitya Constellation Level 1
The maximum number of Gradient Beacons Mitya can carry is increased to 5. Using the Elemental Skill Principle: Variable Detection additionally creates 1 Gradient Beacon.
While the Detection Core is present, your own active character's CRIT DMG is increased by 40%.
Additionally, Mitya regenerates 10 Elemental Energy when a Gradient Beacon is created. This effect can be triggered once every 8s.

Mitya Constellation Level 2
While the Detection Core is present, all opponents within the Polestar Field have their Cryo RES and Electro RES decreased by 20%.
Additionally, if the Detection Core created is:
·Steady State: All nearby party members gain 123 Elemental Mastery;
·Overloaded: Your active character gains 234 Elemental Mastery.

Mitya Constellation Level 4
Detection Cores created by Mitya himself deals 1 instance of AoE Electro DMG equal to 300% of Mitya's Elemental Mastery to nearby opponents for every 5 Gradient Beacons consumed while it is on the field. This DMG is considered Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG.

Mitya Constellation Level 6
Detection Core is enhanced. If the Detection Core:
· Is in the Steady State: Detection Core deals 115% of its original DMG.
· Is Overloaded: There is a 34% chance to create 1 new Gradient Beacon whenever Mitya consumes a Gradient Beacon with the Detection Core.
Additionally, Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG dealt by all nearby party members is Elevated by 20%.
On-field Stellar-Conduct: Use a held Skill to create an Overloaded Core, consume Beacons with Gradient Detonation, and use Burst for another supply of Beacons when Energy permits. Cryo application is essential. The special Charged Attack’s Stellar-Conduct component scales with EM; its separate ordinary hit and Burst have different scaling.
Off-field support: Tap Skill for the Steady State Core, then switch to your damage dealer. With Baseline Stress Test unlocked, each carried Beacon grants nearby party members 30 EM. His reaction-base bonus caps at 14% at 500 EM; extra EM can still improve his own EM-scaling damage.
Main stats: EM Sands / EM Goblet / CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Circlet for personal damage. Use an EM Circlet when prioritizing the support passive or when your EM is still low. An ER Sands is an uptime trade-off only if you need Burst every rotation.
Substats: EM and CRIT for damage; add ER only to meet your chosen rotation. Favonius needs reliable on-field CRIT hits. No universal ER target or damage ranking is assigned.
Catalyst · CRIT DMG
Personal damage · CRIT DMG
Skill use grants 48 EM at R1. Nearby reactions add up to three stacks of 24 EM; while in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, each stack also grants 12% Stellar-Conduct CRIT DMG. This directly matches Mitya’s EM and reaction damage mechanics. Recasting Skill clears the previous effect before applying it again.

Catalyst · Elemental Mastery
EM option · Personal damage / support
Its EM secondary stat supports Mitya’s EM scaling. At R1, another Electro teammate adds 32 EM, while its party effect gives other nearby members 40 EM. Do not count the separate Electro DMG bonus as a direct bonus to Stellar-Conduct reaction damage.

Catalyst · Elemental Mastery
4-star EM option
An EM stat stick that can also reset Skill cooldown after Skill damage hits. At R1 the reset has a 40% chance and a 30s cooldown. The reset is conditional; recasting creates a new Core, so it should not be treated as guaranteed extra Beacon damage.

Catalyst · Energy Recharge
Team Energy option
Its ER stat and neutral particles help Energy needs. At R1, on-field CRIT hits have a 60% chance to trigger the passive, with a 12s cooldown. Build CRIT Rate and land hits before leaving the field; off-field Core hits do not trigger Favonius.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Catalyst · HP%
ATK-carry support option
Switch directly from Mitya to an ATK-scaling carry. At R5, the next character gains 48% ATK for 10s, with a 20s cooldown. This supports a teammate such as Wriothesley; it does not replace Mitya’s EM needs or directly increase his EM-scaling reaction component.

EM · EM · CRIT / EM
4-piece · Personal reaction damage
The 4-piece bonus grants 40% Stellar-Conduct reaction damage and 16% CRIT Rate for attacks against affected opponents. Account for conditional CRIT when building the rest of the set. Its 2-piece ATK bonus is secondary to Mitya’s EM-scaling reaction damage.

EM · EM · CRIT / EM
4-piece · EM-focused alternative
After the wearer triggers a reaction, the set gives 50 EM per teammate of a different element and 14% ATK per same-element teammate, counting up to three teammates. It works off field. Use the actual team composition to evaluate the EM buff.

ER / EM · EM · CRIT / EM
Conditional team ATK support
Casting Burst grants the party 20% ATK for 12s; duplicate Noblesse buffs do not stack. Choose this only when you plan to fund Mitya’s 60-Energy Burst and the carry benefits from ATK. A tap-Skill-only rotation will not activate the buff.
These teams pair Cryo application with Mitya’s Stellar-Conduct mechanics. The lineups below are practical role-based examples, with no simulated DPS or team tier assigned.
Set up Qiqi’s Herald, Yae’s turrets and Sucrose’s buffs, then use Mitya’s held Skill and consume Beacons. Use Burst for more Beacons if it is ready. Refresh short EM buffs between damage windows.
Use the Overloaded Core and Gradient Detonation. Add Burst when available for three Beacons. Prioritize EM and CRIT; keep a Cryo source active.
Herald of Frost follows the active character and heals. In Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, her passive also improves corresponding reaction damage. Stay close enough for the Herald to hit.
Place Sesshou Sakura before Mitya’s damage window. A second Electro unit can help the team’s particle supply, but does not remove the need to check Burst availability.
Skill or Burst hits share EM through Mollis Favonius. Swirl Electro for the matching-element EM passive. Keep her short buffs aligned with Mitya’s field time; this lineup does not assume Hexerei: Secret Rite.
Set up healing and Sucrose’s Cryo Swirl, tap Mitya’s Skill, then switch directly to Wriothesley when using Thrilling Tales. Maintain Cryo and Electro contact with enemies. This composition is a mechanics-based example; exact rotations and damage have not been simulated.
His Cryo attacks provide the Cryo half of the reaction while Mitya’s Core supplies Electro. Qiqi supports his HP-management loop. Take the field directly after Mitya if he carries Thrilling Tales.
Use tap Skill for the Steady State Core and switch out. Build EM for his reaction support and Core damage. Burst is optional in this example rather than a fixed every-rotation requirement.
Maintain Herald of Frost for healing and close-range Cryo application. Her reaction passive requires the appropriate Radiance state; Mitya’s Polestar Field enables her Stellar-Conduct state.
Use Viridescent Venerer and Swirl Cryo on field to reduce Cryo resistance for Wriothesley. Her EM share also supports Mitya. The VV resistance reduction is not a direct Stellar-Conduct reaction multiplier.
