Ganyu is the secretary at Yuehai Pavilion. The blood of the qilin, an illuminated beast, flows within her veins.

Ganyu is the Second powerful Cryo DPS in Genshin Impact at the moment. Ganyu Main DPS and Sub DPS Build are mostly used by travelers. Her Elemental Burst can keep triggering element reaction while dishing out strong damage.

Ganyu has different ways to help the party. Not only can dish out DPS within a short period of time by using the Elemental Burst, but her Elemental Skill also helps trigger element reaction easily. A hit regenerates 2 Energy for Ganyu. This effect can only occur once per Charge Level 2 Frostflake Arrow, regardless if Frostflake Arrow itself or its Bloom hit the target.

Increases the Level of Celestial Shower by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Westward Sojourn

Ganyu Constellation Level 4

Opponents standing within the AoE of Celestial Shower take increased DMG. This effect strengthens over time.
Increased DMG taken begins at 5% and increases by 5% every 3s, up to a maximum of 25%.
The effect lingers for 3s after the opponent leaves the AoE.

The Merciful

Ganyu Constellation Level 5

Increases the Level of Trail of the Qilin by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

The Clement

Using Trail of the Qilin causes the next Frostflake Arrow shot within 30s to not require charging.

Ganyu’s Pros and Cons:

High Damage: Ganyu’s damage output is comparable to Neuvillette. She only requires Crit DMG and ATK when used in a Freeze composition. Otherwise, if not using the Blizzard Strayer or Hunter’s Path set (with Hunter’s Path being more effective with Furina), she needs around 35% Crit Rate.

Dehya’s Elemental Skill will create a field that when enemies inside are damaged by others, the field will unleash a coordinated attack, dealing AoE Pyro DMG to them. This provides a sources of Pyro element for Nahida to trigger Buring and Ganyu’s DMG is maximized by Melting.
