Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) Hollow Zero

Introducing Hollow Zero

Hollow Zero is a challenging high-level combat experience, similar to Shiyu Defense and Rally Commission. In this mode, you’ll enter the Hollow, solve puzzles, gain Resonia buffs, and defeat all enemies. Here’s how to unlock Hollow Zero.

Unlocking Hollow Zero

To unlock Hollow Zero, you need to complete the “Earlybird Ticket to Safety” commission during the third beta test. This will increase your Inter-Knot permissions and grant access to Hollow Zero. Stay tuned for any updates upon the game’s official release.

Hollow Zero Gameplay Guide: Overview

  • Deploy Your Best DPS Agent: Start with your top DPS Agent, as they will initially explore alone. You’ll be able to unlock more Agent slots as you progress.
  • Collect Resonia Buffs: Navigate through the board to gather Resonia buffs, which enhance your Agents’ abilities, making it easier to defeat enemies and bosses.
  • Support Bangboos Buffs: Obtain these buffs through board events. They can’t join Chain Attacks but provide crucial support.
  • Explore All Zones: Hollow Zero features five zones, each with multiple stages ranging in difficulty from I to V. Exploring these zones earns you Investigation Points and materials to upgrade your Investigation License and Combat Configuration.

Investigation Points and License

  • Earn Investigation Points: You gain points by exploring, with a weekly cap that increases as you level up your License.
  • Level Up Your Investigation License: Higher levels offer more rewards and raise the weekly cap for Investigation Points. In the third beta test, the maximum level is 60.

Rewards and Upgrades

  • Withered Crystals: Earn these while exploring to unlock nodes in Combat Configuration for significant buffs.
  • Combat Configuration: Use Withered Crystals to unlock various mods and benefits.
  • Bounty Commissions: Complete these time-limited tasks for extra rewards, which refresh weekly. Completing Bounty Commissions can earn you Inter-Knot Credits, Polychromes, Coup-En, Dennies, and more.
