Maiev Shadowsong has 2 fixed Alliance slots and 1 Unbound slot. The bottom 3 slots are chosen from 7 options: Cycle, Spell, Tank, Fast, Flying, Siege Damage, Alliance, excluding Squad, Elemental, and Ranged slots.
There’s not much to say about the top 3 slots: S.A.F.E., Worgen, and Whelp Egg which must be included. The Cycle slot is a must-choose, with 2 high-quality Unbound units, like the Quilboar. Choose a Fast slot for the Harpies. The Smoke Bomb in this deck can not only cooperate with Maiev, but also cooperate with the Worgen to play a combo to enhance single-target bursts. The Worgen’s attack frequency is much faster than Maiev’s, and the timing of the Smoke Bomb’s deployment with the Worgen needs some practice, otherwise if you put it down just as the Worgen attacks and reveals itself, it would be a waste. If you can calculate the timing to cover both the Worgen and Maiev at the same time, then it maximizes the benefit.
