James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes, Captain America’s loyal sidekick during World War II, was believed to have perished in battle. However, he was secretly captured by enemy forces and transformed into their ultimate assassin, the Winter Soldier. Over time, Bucky managed to break free from his conditioning, reclaiming his identity as a hero.

During a mission to sabotage Charteris Base, the Winter Soldier fell into Hydra’s clutches and endured brutal experiments by their scientists. He was ultimately saved by Hawkeye and a futuristic version of Captain America from the year 2099, who provided him with an upgraded arm as a symbol of renewed strength and partnership.

Strengths

Bucky’s greatest strength lies in his ability to turn the tide of combat by pulling in the right target with his right-click ability. When headshots are landed and abilities are used in the correct sequence, his kill potential becomes extraordinarily high.

Weaknesses

With only 250 HP and limited mobility or escape options, Bucky can be an easy target for opponents to focus down.

Tips and Tricks

Ability Reload: Every ability automatically reloads your gun, so make sure to fire three shots before using an ability to maximize your damage output.
Hook Timing: You can hold your hook indefinitely before firing, giving you ample time to aim carefully. Landing it on the right target can often guarantee victory in a skirmish.
Ultimate Focus: When using your ultimate, prioritize marked targets and take them out quickly to reset your ultimate. However, avoid taking unnecessary risks for resets, as dying for it is rarely worth the trade-off.
