Namor Overview

he unrivaled King of the Seas, Namor surfs into battle on a mighty wave with an army of fierce aquatic creatures in his wake. When ancient horns of war blare, devastation soon follows as deadly waters engulf the arena.

Namor, born of a unique union between a human and an Atlantean, has always straddled the line between two worlds. As the proud ruler of the oceans, he commands unwavering loyalty from those beneath the waves, yet his disdain for surface dwellers has only grown over time.

Now, after years of tension and resentment, Namor has deemed the moment ripe to take action. With the support of his Mutant allies from the advanced society of Krakoa, he has set his sights on a bold new conquest: Jeju Island, a strategic prize in his campaign against the surface world.

Namor Mechansim

Strengths

Namor excels at countering dive-heavy tactics by strategically positioning his turrets. These turrets not only serve as a reliable defense for himself but also provide essential protection for Strategists, making it significantly harder for characters like Spider-Man to disrupt your team.

His shield ability adds a layer of resilience, rendering him temporarily invulnerable and difficult to take down with a single powerful attack. For players with solid accuracy, Namor becomes even more formidable, as landing headshots greatly amplifies his lethality, making him one of the strongest heroes for securing eliminations.

Additionally, his primary attack boasts an impressive range, making it highly effective for controlling choke points and applying continuous pressure to clustered enemies.

Weaknesses

Namor’s primary challenge comes when facing aerial characters like Iron Man. The projectile nature of his left-click attack can make it difficult to hit targets at long distances or in the air. However, with enough practice and precision, Namor can still turn these encounters to his advantage. His Trident ability, in particular, deals substantial damage and can force even flying opponents to retreat when used effectively.

Tips and Tricks

Namor’s L-Shift ability is an essential tool for both survival and mobility. It allows him to escape dangerous situations such as enemy ultimates or high-damage abilities while also offering the flexibility to glide to higher ground, giving him a tactical advantage. Maintaining Monstro Spawns is equally critical to his playstyle. These turrets should always be active and replaced immediately if they are destroyed or about to expire, as they provide excellent coverage against flanking enemies and protect your backline from unexpected threats. Namor’s true power lies in his ability to maintain relentless pressure. Continuously firing his primary attack ensures a steady stream of damage, which, when paired with proper turret placement, can overwhelm opponents and control the battlefield effectively. Never stop shooting, as his consistent damage output is key to securing victory.
