Moon Knight Overview

As the avatar of the Egyptian God of Vengeance, Marc Spector’s body has been enhanced by Khonshu himself. Bathed in a luminous aura that pierces the darkness, Moon Knight glides through the night, ready to sear his enemies with his master’s sacred Ankhs.

Marc Spector, a skilled mercenary, found himself on the brink of death before being granted a new lease on life by the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. Chosen as Khonshu’s avatar, he now prowls the night as Moon Knight, delivering relentless justice to those who prey on the innocent.

Haunted by his tumultuous past and the chaotic voices in his mind, Moon Knight is trapped in an endless war—against criminals in the shadows and the turmoil within his own psyche. His mission is clear: to fight without rest until he secures triumph in the name of his divine master.

Moon Knight Mechansim

Strengths

Moon Knight excels in dealing with clustered enemies and confined spaces. The bouncing mechanics of his Crescent Darts and Moon Blade make him devastating in these scenarios, allowing him to rapidly accumulate Ultimate charge due to the sheer amount of damage inflicted in a short period.

Weaknesses

His effectiveness diminishes significantly when enemies spread out, such as when facing characters with diving or flanking capabilities. In these situations, his lack of single-target burst damage makes him less reliable.

Counters

Hela: Her ability to dominate from a distance makes her a significant threat. To counter her, avoid her line of sight and use Moon Knight’s mobility to close the gap. Once in melee range, Hela becomes much more manageable.

Iron Man and Storm: These heroes pose challenges due to their strong projectile-based attacks. If Moon Knight’s projectiles lack speed, dodging becomes critical. Utilize double jumps and glides to evade their attacks while attempting to break their line of sight. Once close enough, capitalize on their reduced effectiveness in close combat.

Tips and Tricks

Maximize Area Damage: Focus on spamming your abilities in crowded areas. While Moon Knight’s burst damage might not shine, his AOE potential can overwhelm enemies, racking up impressive numbers.

Smart Use of Ultimate: Coordinate your Ultimate with allies to maximize its effectiveness. Enemies can often escape if they anticipate its activation, so timing and synergy are crucial.

Alternatively, use the Ultimate for zoning to control enemy movements or force them into disadvantageous positions.
Ankh Placement: Preemptively use your Ankh ability before engaging your Ultimate. The Ankh’s pulling effect can trap enemies in place, setting them up for devastating follow-up attacks.

By leveraging Moon Knight’s strengths and mitigating his vulnerabilities, he can dominate battles in the right conditions.
