This mission presents early challenges with three Huntresses on the right and a group of Footmen on the left. Here’s a step-by-step strategy to overcome these obstacles:
To deal with the Huntresses, deploy either Defias Bandits or Gnoll Brutes in the middle to intercept them. As the Huntresses target these units, quickly place Maiev directly on top of them to eliminate the Huntresses efficiently.
Next, focus on the Footmen. Prioritize taking out the Gryphon Rider behind them, as it poses a threat from the air. Utilize Blackrock Pyromancers to counter the Gryphon Rider effectively, as they excel at dealing with both aerial and ground units. Once the Gryphon Rider is eliminated, deploy a Bat Rider to support the Pyromancer and handle any remaining Footmen.
If your ranged unit is unable to target the Gryphon Rider, consider cycling through your units to find a suitable counter or prioritize eliminating the Footmen before your tower is destroyed. It is crucial to manage the situation swiftly to prevent unnecessary damage.
After successfully dealing with the initial wave of enemies, prioritize capturing the tower and meeting stone as quickly as possible. Take advantage of mining gold whenever available. Controlling the meeting stone allows you to deploy Minis, such as Stonehoof, to attack incoming Huntresses as they spawn. If the Huntresses start to group and attack, employ the same strategy of using Bandits and Maiev to eliminate them efficiently.
With both spawn points under control, send out waves of troops to attack Raene. On the left side, use Pyromancers and Bat Riders for optimal effectiveness, while on the right side, deploy Gnoll Brutes and Stonehoof. Coordinate their attacks to maximize damage on Raene.
By following this strategy and effectively managing your units, you’ll be able to overcome the initial challenges, seize control of the map, and launch a successful attack on Raene. Adjust your tactics as needed based on the enemy’s movements and unit compositions.
